How to Reset your Zaaptv Receiver software.

If your box freeze up or keep rebooting
Or any other problems it is good to reset the box and this is how you do it.

1-Power off the Zaaptv receiver by disconnect the power adapter for 5 second from the power outlet.

2-Then PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE “OK” KEY on your remote while you plug back the power adapter to the wall , and do not let go until you see the " system diagnostics " page.

3- there will be 4 choices to pick from. Select the one before the last option , (the 3rd one) witch is “Full restore” by Pressing, " I " on the remote control.

4. Then the box will start reset the software . When you see the word Done in GREEN color that's mean the software successfully been reset. If you see a RED writing in the bottom instead the green DONE, that's mean there is a bigger problem a professional technician has to fix it . If you are under our one year warranty you could send it back to us, so we can fix it.

5- the last thing you do press back bottom on the remote control.
Then the box will restart normally. 

Note: buy resetting your Zaaptv you might lose all the favorite channels you saved. You could go back and resave them back again.

Device continuously rebooting
As for the box that is continuously rebooting, we have a solution. Please do the following:

(i) Immediately after the box starts reboot, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE "OK" KEY for about 20-30 secs(till the screen in (ii) appears).
(ii) A screen with heading "System Diagnostics" will appear. 
(iii) In this, there are different options. Select the last option of "Run Previous Software"[Press Stop Key].
      Please press the STOP key

 

 
Bandwith Usage

ZAAPTV have a unique own developed technologie that make the bandwith
usage very low

Example:
for 4 hours in 30 days the device consume 240 Gb bandwith traffic.
for 8 hours in 30 days the device consume 480 Gb bandwith traffic.

 
 

Buffering Issues

 and change the DNS to 8.8.8.8.

Notice you should only change the DNS to 8.8.8.8 not the IP Adress.

Update 2011-12-01: If the above is not working try to replace DNS with the down listed, (DO NOT CHANGE THE IP ADRESSES).
